House, flat, office, retail, school or community building — construction and age change the repair route.
Where the damage is
Which room, which elevation, which floor. A pattern usually tells us where the water is coming from.
When it started
And whether it follows heavy rain, freezes, a roof repair or something else that changed.
Photographs
Wide shots for context and close shots of the damage. Photographs are not a substitute for an assessment.
